Three buttons we get on the scroller and three buttons we get on the thumb rest. Two buttons are dedicated to thumb rest and one button is hidden on thumb support. The thumb support button is quite useful as we don’t need to move the thumb to use the reprogrammable button with small pressure, we can press the thumb support button.
Customizing these buttons is really easy when we connect a mouse to a PC, it will automatically install the Logitech option + app. This app offers a simple User Interface to customize all the reprogrammable buttons. We also get an option to reprogram buttons for different apps, so you can reprogram buttons for chrome, word, premier pro and many other apps. In Chrome, you can use these buttons for forward, backward and on the word app, you can use buttons for copy-paste.
This mouse also supports multi-device, so get the ability to connect to three devices at once and switch between them easily. Two devices can be paired on Bluetooth mode and the third device need to be connected using a 2.4 Ghz dongle. I have used this mouse with mac, windows and android smartphones and switching between devices is fast within a few seconds it connects to the next paired device. For battery saving mouse also offers sleep mode so if we don’t use the mouse for 10mins it goes into sleep mode, and with a small moment we can wake it up.
